If i were to use a setting other than default zone with .15 alpha and 1.5 height I would probably use this below

I assume that's with alpha blending enabled. What would they look like with it off? I rather like the vector-screen-like look.

I don't understand why the game mode was called Fortress, when it should clearly be called Colosseum.

And "Colosseum" is totally appropriate. In the movie "TRON", programs are pitted against each other in gladiator style play, to the death.

May not be pretty to you, but to someone who digs the vector screen aesthetic, they're right nifty. Probably look even better in motion. (And practically speaking, I wouldn't want to try to play Fortress or Sumo with shaded zones partially obstructing my view now and then.)

Probably because people weren't trying to invade and conquer opposing Colosseums. Fortress wasn't named that because of the shape of the zone.

If anything, Colosseum would more appropriately apply to Sumo. Or, like, any regular server.

Whats the settings for that last image? Is the shiney effect default or you have to do something special?

ZONE_ALPHA .15 (you can vary it depending on how shiny you want it, or visibility)
ALPHA_BLEND 1

The spinning of the zone makes it much harder to play, but is very fun.

I call this, Twilight Zone. I call it this because my fps mysteriously drops to sub-ten when I enter it.

It is amazing how much your zone settings can affect your fps, and lag.

If the Colosseum gradually shrunk, yes. The object of sumo is to push your opponent out of the circle, sumo.

Well, It should reset when you restart the client, but default is:

As for me; here is a funny glitch. When the round started; tab-score told me that everyone was dead except Buddha Ant (Actually everyone was alive including myself). Then I took a look at the arena and realized it showed Buddha Ant's tail on the mini map as well as some random green tail. This green tail was not visible in the arena. -_-

I was messing with zone segs in racing and found this really pretty (prolly seen it before (at the very top of this page ><) but still & excuse the anime, i was gonna cut the picture but im really tired lol)
