Wow, those finals were close.

We were down 90-54 in the last match 2-2 and we got back to 94-92.
Then they won 100-98. Great matches and gz to tr.

actually we have a log that says exactly the scores, still...

we have a command (but maybe it's only in armahacktron) to add/remove points to/from a team/player

would have been useful there!

The logs of the TR vs CT final were pasted into #Ladle (on IRC) so that we could follow the match to some extent. ;)

So...it was a VERY VERY close final. Congratulations to TR and nice try to CT. Both very strong teams I think we can safely say.

I think we need to do some real thinking about server issues:

1) There were problems with people being disconnected from certain servers. As madmax said, we need rules to deal with this and also we need to think about which servers we use in the future. We have better servers available to us than some of the ones that we officially used.
2) Wild West server had 16 max_clients so not only spectators but even *substitutes* could not enter. It took a lot of effort just to persuade Wild West to upgrade their servers and when they eventually did, they didn't even set up the correct number of max_clients. I have told them several times about the max_client thing. That is not acceptable. The fact that the server is given for free does not make this acceptable. Pink Tomatoes' server, although not officially one of the Ladle servers, was used for the final and is also an American server. He seems to be a competent and intelligent person and, IMO we should prioritise using that server over Wild West.

A couple things. Should we use seeding (with the top 4 teams) next ladle, considering we got our top 4 teams?
In addition, should we make it so that we switch the final server from euro to us etc each ladle?
also, where can I find a recording?

definately would think switching off from US and Euro is a good idea.
As for seeding, i think 4 teams is a little much. Considering thats almost half of the teams.

Why would you need a recording? you can just see from the text output which points came first right? The only thing teams need to agree on is that after a server crash there are no more 'ties'

yeah, we just put up the idea of a 3rd place match for this ladle. No worries.

But I agree with the seeding part.
