and i'll let someone come up with the original pitfall, then. that mayan adventure is good, but basically a whole different game.

Well, I'm interested in one game, Pitfall. That and another game, Pole Position. It would be nice to relive some memories.

Btw, I totally disagree. The graphics on the Atari are sweet.

Few people realize it, but the Atari can pull off graphics like the screenshot below:

yeah, i'd have to strongly disagree with the suckage of atari 2600. some really beautiful titles there, even when the graphics were a bit austere:

adventure
air sea battle
battle zone*
frog pond**
pitfall
robot tank*
superman
warlords***
yar's revenge

* very fun even though they are not much like the arcade
** i might be off on the title
*** one of my very favorite games on any platform... simply brilliant

(and i just know i've forgotten some really good ones...!)

btw, there's really no reason to host Z26 or the other atari emulators, since they are generally being updated and you want the current version always if possible. so for Z26, grab it here:

I just downloaded the emulator. Do you know a good link for roms?

The ones I find have a million popups and are annoying.

EDIT: Oh, nvm. I may have stumbled upon some. =)

don't waste your time, iceman. there's already 100's, if not 1000's of easy sources of atari emulators and ROMs.
