Well damn, wrong again on the NFC side. I figured it could actually go either way, but evidently I was even wrong there. The Seahawks walloped the Panthers. Too bad for them, but good for the Seahawks. First Super Bowl ever.
Now the awesomeness. The Steelers handily handled the Broncos, making my AFC predictions perfect. I hate the way the Broncos lost, though. Not that it was entirely his fault, but I really like Jake Plummer, and it sucks he was accountable for four turnovers. They were turnovers forced by the Steel Curtain, but still, he's going to take a lot of flack, and that's a shame.
The best story: The Bus is going home.

I'm going to start betting on football, but I'm going to bet the opposite of SIlly's recommendations.

Heh, probably a perception thing, then. Your posts usually start with what you got wrong, and since I couldn't give a rats hind quarter about sports, that's all I see.

woo steelers win the super bowl
oh well i guess shaun alexander could hve something to say about that... maaayybe
Then again, it's the Steelers
Their coaching staff has been completely on point these past games, and the team's bought into what they're doing as evidenced by winning on the road three straight times to go to the bowl.
Frankly, when a coaching staff picks a great strategy on both ends of the field, and the team plays that strategy wholeheartedly the whole game, i don't care who it is, they're winning. Well maybe not the texans. But they're a nonissue anyway.
too bad about the panthers
