ye the referee did a good job till that penalty, imo. the fault against J.Cesar i think any ref would have agreed with that.
i expected more from Hulk but brazil didnt play a lot from that side
I hope Camerun wins today (because of my internal bets), dont care about Spain and Netherlands but i think Spain may win atleast 1-0. Chile should beat Australia even with out Vidal

I personally found the referee very poor. many of his decisions favoured the Brazilians. The "foul" on Julio Cesar wasn't a foul. the ball had already left his hands before he was touched by the Croatian. The Penalty wasn't a Penalty, the less i say about that, the better.

That said, I enjoyed the match overall I guess, and the Croatians were unlucky. The best moment for me was when Brazil sang the second verse of their National anthem. Also LOL Luiz, denying Neymar dat day 1 Hattrick.

So, Netherlands vs Spain today, what do you all think?

I hope RvP, Robben, and Sneijder will be on fire tonight so we can stunt against Spain like we did four years ago against Brazil.

I think this is a good angle of how the player fouled Julio Cesar:

That type of jump is illegal to do on anyone, and especially the goalie in his own six yard box.

But other than that, the ref was terrible, both Brazil's second and third goals had bad calls involved.

I hope Netherlands gets second in the group, we want revenge for last WC :)

When you're already discussing so much about those fouls I wonder how many pages mexico vs cameroon will fill :P And only the first half is over.

Anyway, looking forward to spain vs netherlands and although some people say that spain passed their peak I still see them as one of the favourit teams in the WC and my tip is: spain 3 - 1 netherlands

Really looked like he extended his leg, if not that then slipped. Thought penalty was a bad call in live, still agree with it on replay.

I also think there were a few iffy offsides calls from what I've seen.

Maybe I'm not full brazilian, but I'm half brazilian and I've supported the team my entire life. That's enough for me to use the word we. But I don't need to prove any credentials to you, I could support Brazil even if I had no connection to the country whatsoever.

As for the spain netherlands game, holy shit. I can't believe they got beaten that badly. Netherlands must be feeling really good.
