That's interesting but yes, I too faced that problem earlier. For some odd reason however it fixed itself for me and is now working fine.

Anyway, without looking at the changes you made how the heck would I know the cause of your problem? At-least post the code or something dude. You posted the error but what about the code? Don't I need to check it with my current one?

Also, you may have different setups for yours but I wouldn't know because I am not hosting your script, you are. So you need to fill me in on the details and such.

I guess phpbb is storing passwords in sha1 and not md5 , ill re-post soon after i complete my custom script for authority and then ill notify you and i would rather go for modigying the original one because your own script is a bit complex for me.
