well because servers are hard to come by, I make two opening rounds in tournaments I host. two pros come from this.

1. More easier to find less servers + not having to worry about not having enough.

2. The first opening round & 2nd opening round has more spectators that watch the matches, creating an entertaining atmosphere as well. In most tournaments where there's only one opening, not a lot of matches have spectators because the people who would normally watch, are most likely in a opening match themselves.

Also depends on the match ups, usually if they start right on time, they usually end within 45mins.

Oh i know you werent criticizing, i was just posting on why I do two opening rounds.

So far it usually stays on time.

1st Opening round- (1pm est)

2nd opening round- (1:45pm est \some people actually start their 2nd opening round BEFORE this)

Quarter Final- (3:15pm est)

Semifinals(4pm est)

Finals(4:45pm est)

ending 5:30ish est
