Sumo Bar Feedback & Suggestions

I don't care what you do with your 1v1 sb and 1v1 normal sumo. But this tourney belongs to other hoster and it's far more important (and fun) than the ones i've just mentioned.

This is a quite subjective opinion which does not belong here, right? Why don't you calm down and say it in an objective way?

keep these starting positions or would you like them changed....

Good news.

In configs I changed some things around and tada.

It will now only show personal scores and not team scores like last tournament.

So only thing left to do now is Maybe change the starting positions (if there's something wrong with current??) and clear the wiki and set the date.

I dont really get why do you have anything to change the sumo bar we know is what emphasis has created and you cant call it sumo bar with the changes you have done.

I don't have a a preference over which starting positions are used btw, the majority might prefer it how it was last time. It just seems silly to have a tourney called sumo bar that differs from the one people play every day though

This is not your tourney, not your rules, don't modify the brackets and randomize like titan did in last one.

Any tournament run like this should be done on a community basis, IMHO. Unless you make it clear, like Cody does that it is your baby. I plan on starting a few more tournaments for hr and such, all to be done on a community basis. I also have plans to do some "ID hosted" tournaments that I will only use the Arma wiki for registration, etc. Those I will through the ID forums. That way people won't confuse them with a community one. FCL is not going to use anything more than the Wordpress Site I have setup for it. Although I will certainly have discussions about it on these forums. However, I have made it pretty darned clear that the FCL is my personal pet project.

1. I fixed the Team & Personal score bug that happened LAST tournament and caused admins/specs/mods/players not being able to see all the scores(that's what i did in configs)

2. I'm using Emphas 8 person sumo circle, those are HIS starting positions, I'm just making it clear to everyone because hoax said something about shitty starting positions and Im checking to see if he was talking about THOSES or the ones in current Sumo Bar Servers.

3. I will randomize and be respectful to how tit did it(but don't complain about brackets when they're out)

Gonzap again , dont care what tournament you do or don't enter, always someone else who will gladly take your place. Also just because you can't win 1v1 64 or 1v1sb, doesn't make them sucky tournaments go take your little 5year old chuck e cheese hissy fits somewhere else.


ALSO if someone wants to teach me the randomization of IRC i will gladly learn, if no one wishes to teach me then I will use an online name randomizor and take tons of screenshots!

Well stated, Cody. Just show up in IRC and ask to be shown how to randomize. It's easy, and the process, done in the #armagetron channel generates a log, if anybody has any questions.

You could always get someone else to randomise them for you. I'm sure we can get a few volunteers and just have a few people doing it in the IRC or something.
