Why are you advertising your clan website if it's just for a LAN game? (I'm wondering if there might be a mixup in terminology and implementation here.)

Couple other notes: As Jonathan noted, it needs to be the actual file, not an alias.

Are his locations correct for LAN? Even running a dedicated server, those files (autoexec.cfg, server_info.cfg, settings_custom,cfg, etc.) are in a var folder, at least the way Gene has set up mine.

You don't need to 'include' autoexec.cfg. As the name implies, it is automatically executed when the client or server is run. Also, if running a LAN game is anything like running a server, you don't want to use the console. Rather, you want to use the chat field and type "/admin <command>" (minus quotation marks, obviously).

That little arrow in its icon means it's an alias. That's a link to the real file, and that doesn't help Arma very much. You need to put the actual file there.

I fixed it so it is not an alias...so how do I get it to work in Arma? I'm sorry if this was already answered.

I think they can be the same. Not sure what's the case here.

Also, it seems autoexec is not recommended these days, but it should work.

When I run my LAN Server the default settings are still applied, not my custom ones. Can someone "proofread" my autoexec.cfg? I will post it here with the extension .txt as the site wont let me use .cfg.

It has CR line endings, and later in the file they're LF. I changed them all to LF.
