Why not remove the final 1v1 and add a round of 64.

Re: Classic Sumo Tournament - November 14th / 32 players
Because at the moment we have 3 global admins, I'm not gonna run a tournament with 64 people with 3 admins. If there are more volunteers then I'll be more than happy to raise the playerlimit.
(With mecca it would be 4 admins, but I'm not so sure if he will show up)

Why is it so necessary to have so many admins, tst was run with like 3 admins right? The only regular admin I've seen in ladle has been z-man.

Hey, the sign ups are full....
You will put the brackets up? Or just on november? (Just asking lol).

Re: Classic Sumo Tournament - November 14th / 32 players
TST had 2 different starting rounds, so at most only 4 servers at a time had to be admin'd. It seemed that players were confused by these 2 seperate starting rounds, and didn't show up. 8 servers will have to be admin'd at the same time, in CST. You want this to go up to 14 servers? A tournament doesn't run itself, so like I said, I need more volunteers before the playerlimit gets raised.
Read the 'rules' page, it will tell you more about the brackets there.

Ladle runs itself. And even wst, which had a lot of admins, I never saw an admin do anything. They simply weren't needed at all in the servers I played in.

Not to argue but I had to point this out...I have basically been the only Global Admin for the WST's lately. Sometime it is me and Luck and that is usually it that show up. I really have no opinion in this tournament as far as player limit goes, but things do run smoother when a global admin is in each server...at least when a new tournament has started.Desolate wrote:Ladle runs itself. You weren't at the one b4 that so we even! Also, Z-man and g5 usually help out.

Re: Classic Sumo Tournament - November 14th / 32 players
Ladles are easier to run because there is only one person per a team that has team leader, and they are known (or at least hoped) to be responsible. In a sumo tourney, everybody is their own team. You don't want to have 32 or 64 people running around with the accessibility to do /admin commands.
If people can both play and be admins, then I'm willing to admin, as long as I don't have to use any type of TS/Vent/Speaking Program.

Re: Classic Sumo Tournament - November 14th / 32 players
Like Poke pointed out, this tournament doesn't run itself because I won't give 32/64 players OP-7 in every server. I really wish some of you wouldn't argue, instead help me find volunteers to admin so I can change it to 64.
And no, admins can't play but thanks for the offer!
