@ Hoax: As I said yet, I did not know that there was such a tournament beforedreadlord wrote:perhaps Romania for emmy and Xyron and some other players who come from exotic countries
You could organize the teams by time zone.Olive wrote:Gene came up with the idea to split the USA into sections such as, east coast, mid-west, etc.
I also think everyone should get a chance to play. Hungary, for example, only has 3 or 4 tronners, can they, in case they want to, team up with e.g. lithuania?
The second one that you are referring to never happened since, as you said, the site went down. The second one that I was referring to was the DDL ITWC. That was won by "West Coast" aka Western U.S.Hoax wrote:http://wiki.armagetronad.net/index.php? ... Cup_Groups

Thats power only really existed in the pre-crazy(read: strategic)-holing era.newbie wrote:UK was so lucky there, me and max with two other players were beating an 8-man team easily 2:0, then someone joined us and we've lost 2:3, that's the power of a single player in a tournament match
Considering that the majority of fortress players in the US are on the east coast, and not very many are farther west, this doesn't seem very practical. Instead, it would probably be best to just have multiple teams, without regards to where they are in the country.DDMJ wrote:You have to break up the US into different sections because if the US can tie the best of EU, they would most likely beat the individual countries. Also, there should be alliances, like in the first one, so Titan00b can play for example.
emm canada have enought players for make your own teamdreadlord wrote:

i suggest usa playing one man down with one admin focused on admin killing decisive players in some decisive rounds, so it's fair for the restDDMJ wrote:You have to break up the US into different sections because if the US can tie the best of EU, they would most likely beat the individual countries.
