And how exactly will you enforce single binding?

I think if you limit the Turn_delay(might have this confused with another setting) it makes it so it only detects 1 turn at a time, so you can still press 3 left turn keys at once but it will only make one left turn. I'm pretty sure a few servers have had this at one point, also remember playing single bind only sumo once in tx i think. Makes everyone who triple binds look like they just started playing the game, ie driving straight into someone's wall when it is completely open on both sides of them.

That would be the only real way to enforce it, if you go with the honour system it will fail.
You've gone too far, turn back!

ya there is some setting that does that, I hate it. i usually use 2 turn keys for each way but normally use them for different situations not always to double bind and that settings pretty much so makes this impossible.

I do the exact same thing. I have a left and right for each hand, but I usually only hit one key at a time. I think messing with the setting to enforce that stuff is stupid, annoying, and pointless. And by the way, who cares of you triple or not? It doesn't make you a bad player.

I'd rather see sumo with 1 rubber instead.

Nexus has 1 rubber....
Well i never understood this either but why was Nexus called no rubber when there was 1 rubber???

With no rubber you wouldn't be able to seal so there would alwayz be an exit making it interesting no?

I recall rubber mostly squashes space. You slow down before hitting the wall, but there are still gradations. They're just closer together in space. YMMV and I think there were also some hard limits that can well be hit depending on settings (aka high rubber, fast approach speed, large limit, I think).

I might be completely wrong; I've hardly touched this game in ages, and I've never had a good look at the rubber code.

It wasn't 1 rubber. It was 0.1/0.2.
And it was not set at zero because most of the time some strange bugs happened with that.
