why spoil the surprise?
or bother planning for something that might not happen?
aim for a peak
and take the next step
what comes after that...
we can deal with it if it happens...
the tronic progression was run along similar lines
self-organising
scalable
but it all runs on self-discipline and social responsibility
actually
as an aside
i suspect the gameplay of fortress might evolve
since i haven't heard of anything developing in the last year or so...
i mean
i remember seeing maz and nemo
and egg-cozy used to work really well in defence with others
but these were mostly accidents
rather than specific tactics employed by pairs of players...
i mean
things like the kamakazi torpedo tactic
but perhaps not so drastic
i suspect there are a whole bunch of meme/tactics waiting to be discovered by some inventive double-play
i'd like to see that

seriously?
can they host an internet game?
it would be cool if we could set up an international over the next two months
while i am still at the school
i could probably persuade the admin to open it up to the net for a short period of time
fyi
the guy who is head of it admin at this school
happens to be a consultant in the county
so if he can see any improvement to the school wrt learning eg teamwork
then he might be willing to take it further
an international
might be enough to give governors etc a valid reason to accept tron within the system
and thus accelerate the process of pickup in the county
and we end up giving our kids more inter-school games
more fun

Well...just more of 2020's nonsensical grand delusion. And delusions of grandeur. And totally myopic hyperestimation of a little video game in which he invests far too much thought and importance, not to mention time he could spend actually contributing something constructive. But that would require connection and engagement with reality, so I'm no optimistic it'll occur.
