Last standalone version of the statsig has been release at:

I made this version gearing up to bring the statsig into the aastats component I built for Mambo. (The image generator is factored into a cool class of its own now)
I'll probably install this new version over the old version that's being used currently, but there's not a real need to do so, it's just something that takes a minute so I might do it. Anyways, what happens when it's integrated into the website is that you'll be able to register a game name on the servers (with and without color codes, I think) and reserve it for your own use. You won't be able to reserve the name in-game yet, not until there's real authentication and stuff in armagetron itself, but at least we can start building a list of names that are already taken for others to look at and make sure they don't pick. And then you'll be able to configure how you're shown in stats of all types, including your own custom statsig.
That's the plan, at least.
