Feature request -> Better ranks

You must have an older version of mysql. Do you know what it is? it should tell you as you connect to it.
I have updated the file to an even more simplified version. Try this, it must work.

I'm in a pickle...I've had several people look at the script and they say they really can't do anything with it due to afluent bugs

Be more specific about these "bugs" and I'll do what I can to help.
It worked for me in pretty much that state for quite some time. And has also worked for angel on ddl.
I stated it wasn't perfect and it may need to be tweaked to your needs, this was a fairly early version - these don't stop it working, just stop it working perfectly. We have since hacked the source allowing for far more features in our ladder. But they are at heart the same script.
