@ Z-man, Wrtl, & Manta:

I updated the map settings and it looks like the last change.

MAP_FILE Durka/sumo/team-0.0.8.aamap.xml

I took away the AUTO_TEAM setting completely. You will have to set it in the server config.

So, for Manta:

When you want normal team sumo (not for the tournament), you will need to put AUTO_TEAM 1 in the config.

@ Z-man & Wrtl:

For the tournament (so settling the teams can be easy), your config file should look something like this:

Code: Select all

MAP_FILE Durka/sumo/team-0.0.8.aamap.xml
AUTO_TEAM 0
:P

All done. I've put auto_team 0 into everytime.cfg only, so the first player that joins gets to play immediately. Do you want your name protected for the new IP?

Yes please. You have my new IP now :P.

EDIT: I just tried to join the server and it put me in spec mode. That's fine though. You don't have to change it.

EDIT AGAIN!: P.S. I love the "Join Warnings" :P. Very clever I must admit :D.

Ok, everything is set.

If you registered for the tournament, please check your email. I haven't sent you some information you should know.

If for some reason you didn't get the email, just read everything on the TST page and you while get the basic idea of what's going on.

Don't forget to stay in touch with your partner. If he fails to show up, too bad.

Anyways, I hope this can run smoothly.

Please read the TST page closely. The brackets are on there as well.

Thanks,

---Durka

Thank you 2020.

And thank you all for participating and congratulations to Psyko & Cyclo for winning the tournament.

At first, I doubted that we could get 16 players together to play in one day, but then so many people wanted to join, so I expanded it to 32 players (16 teams). 31/32 players made it and I think that's amazing attendence.

A few people dropped out at the last minute, but we had fill-ins that were glad to step in.

I made a Feedback forum so I could get everyone's thoughts in one area. Also, if you have any suggestions for the next TST, please post them here.

For those of you who didn't make it to the finals, or want to see the results, I updated the brackets on the TST page.

I'm also planning on a TST 2. I've added a section on my forums for it as well. Go ahead and take a look at it.

Again, thanks everyone for participating and big ups to Psyko & Cyclo for winning the tournament.

Also, everything would not have run this smoothly without the help of all 4 server admins being present. A big thank you goes out to Z-Man, Wrtl, Manta, & Me :P.

Anytime again :) From what I can tell, organization was smooth. Good job there, Durka.
