4) Despite the fact that the White House released “situation room” photos which purported to show Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden and the rest of Obama’s security staff watching the raid which killed Bin Laden live, it was later admitted by CIA director Leon Panetta that Obama could not have seen the raid because the live feed was cut off before the Navy SEALS entered the compound. The photos were described by many as having “historical significance,” forming a “captivating” record of Obama’s greatest success and being the “defining moment” of his Presidency. One image showed Hillary Clinton with her hand over her mouth as if witnessing an anxious or crucial moment in the raid. Media reports at the time claimed that the photos represented the moment when “The leader of the free world saw the terror chief shot in the left eye.” However, the photos were staged as a PR stunt for public consumption, nobody in the photos ever saw Bin Laden killed live, nor did they see the Navy SEALS even enter the compound.

Let's see.
"Fact 1": auto-repeat of the strike 1 question, auto-strike 3. We could stop counting.
"Fact 2": If you're determined to stage a fake raid and lie to the public, wouldn't that make it EASIER to tell the same story consistently? In the hypothetical situation where we would still care, that would be strike 4.
"Fact 3": yeah, they have a point there.
"Fact 4": See fact 2. Let's be generous and not count it twice.
"Fact 5": I'm unfamiliar with that, never heard of the claims and ignore it for now.
"Fact 6": And it's unthinkable he never left the house? Strike 5. And, say, you live there and you saw him. Now western reporters come and interview you. Would YOU tell them? Strike 6.
"Fact 7": Haven't seen either video, so see Fact 5.
"Fact 8": So group A lies, independent group B does something inconsistent with that lie. That proves what exactly? Strike 7.
"Fact 9": Err. It's a different government now. And what war would this be used to prepare the public to start? Against Pakistan? Who definitely have nukes? Strike 8.
"Fact 10": Does long term and short term mean anything to you? Not counting this because this "fact" raises valid concerns.
Ok, I'm feeling extra generous. The auto-repeat of "Fact 1" doesn't count, either. That only leaves five questions to answer. Good luck.

#2 (A) The White House was too eager to get out the narrative. In fact, not proof of secrecy and a cover-up, but a result of an eagerness to be open. Reminiscent of the early Clinton years (before your birth, I'm assuming). (B) As any journalist covering the military can tell you, as Jim Micklashevski pointed out, early reports are almost never correct. They hadn't even debriefed yet.

#3 (A) They wanted to give him a proper Islamic burial to further hammer the point that "this is not a crusade against Islam, we respect Islam, and to show you how much we're even going to give a proper Islamic burial to this evil man whom we and the overwhelming majority of Muslims do not believe represents 'true' Islam." (B) Supposedly, this requires burial within 24 hours. However, they ran into the problem of, "where? Who is going to take him?" (C) They didn't want to create a de-facto shrine.

Yes, I would rather they had not so abruptly disposed of the body.

#4 The Administration themselves never claimed that photo was of them watching a live feed of the actual raid. Nor did any reliable news outlets. Typical case where the conspiracy whackos take an erroneous, throw-away, speculative claim by some talking head in the overeager 24-hour-television-infotainment-cycle, before anyone has verified it, and purporting it as widespread official news. Once again, cherry-picking "proof" to fit your predetermined belief.

#7 You never heard of hair dye?


The unsubstantiated silliness of #5 notwithstanding, al-Qa'ida—actual, verified al-Qa'ida—have accepted that he's dead. So, are they in on the conspiracy themselves?


Of course, all this being said, we all need to understand the following axiom concerning conspiracy theorists:
Evidence against the conspiracy is evidence for the conspiracy.

It is pointless to argue with someone like fixit. One would have more success arguing evolution and planetary cosmology with a young/flat/centric-earth creationist.
