Re: Ladle 39
I think that was one of the best ladles yet. Although R needs to tighten it up a bit, you guys were very good with changing tactics and techniques at different points in the game. I'm scared to see how you'll do next ladle.

gz/gm CT, always a pleasure! Except Woned: you're not pleasant at all.
Needless to say you were the better team today.
special props to unk, you really tired us out, in CT's favour
(Jokes aside, you were really good unk. keep it up!)

Re: Ladle 39
Congratz CT!
I thought Zman's server was fine until i was timed out and kicked out of the server for no reason in the final rounds of a very close first match against unK.
So we ended up losing that first match and when i did return it wasn't til the 5th round that i was actually able to re-join my team.
In my mind there is no question that outcome of the match could have been different if this did not happen.
I am not complaining for any change of the results as it wasn't anybody's fault and i accept the outcome of this Ladle,
however in a situation like this in the future, wouldn't it make sense to allow a team to request for a time out or some way to stop the game momentarily until the team recovers from an unlucky incidents like this?
PS: @ Zman i watched the recording of the match. Thanx for answering my questions but I wasn't getting any of your messages during the game when i was trying to get back in....weird...
PS: @Gawdzilla, is that Lil John you're dating?? Are u goin on a tour with him or something?

Re: Ladle 39
You mean Ladle 26. And I'm not suggesting breaking tradition. I don't see evidence of "tradition" at all. I do, however, see some aesthetic choices being made by some people who make brackets and not others. But none of the brackets are faulty in any way, shape, or form.-*inS*- wrote:If you are suggesting we break this tradition then I think you should campaign it not me. I'm not the one trying to change something that's been done since Ladle 23.
As you can see from this Ladle, it's not the location that matters but the quality of the server. If you want to add more rules to Stage 3 of the Ladle regulations, feel free to write something up and submit it next quarter. Everyone has a voice here.

Re: Ladle 39
I think we should slightly change the wordings of one of the lines right above the bracket.
"If there are two servers listed for a specific game, the game will be played in the bolded server. However, if both teams agree on moving to the non-bolded server, then the switch can be made.
This is misleading because almost every clan has people from all around the world and can't really be considered "European" or "American". Instead, it should say something like this:If there are 2 servers listed for a specific game, the game will be played in each team's home server (European or American) if both teams are European or both are American. If there is a mixture, the game will be played in the server that is in bold.
"If there are two servers listed for a specific game, the game will be played in the bolded server. However, if both teams agree on moving to the non-bolded server, then the switch can be made.

Re: Ladle 39
Hmm, that looks like old wording that didn't get changed in the last revision. It's worded better on the Regulations page:
"The brackets should be followed precisely unless there is an issue with the primary server. Team Leaders can discuss moving to the secondary server (examples: the majority of the players are from the same region and want to play on a closer server, or the primary server becomes unstable)."
Maybe worded like this? -- "All finals are played in the server listed in bold. Teams may agree to move to the backup server if there is a regional preference or problem with the primary server." -- it reiterates what is on the Regulations page.
owned, I think you're right about the whole American/European thing.

Yeah, your wording is much better than mine. I generally am bad at saying things in an official manner.
Just switch "finals" with "matches" or "games" and it should be perfect.

Some people also need to start respecting rule 3. As bureaucratic as it is it's there so adhere to it or request its removal
"Only Team Leaders may add, edit or remove their team from the Challenge Board. Modifications to the position of Team Leader may be done by the current Team Leader(s) or the new Team Leader(s). "
