+1, considering there's no way to prove anything online, i think people can just sign up where they wish, also makes for a better tournament as it gets more people playing and more countries able to field teams, pretty much a win/win situation.
"more countries able to field teams" is not true, you just have more people from the same country misrepresenting another country.

What if "Russia", made up of stragglers, knocks a genuine country out?

The guy uses ?????@forums (or however many ?)

Either way I haven't added him to the list yet, Deso gets final call on this one. Perhaps we can just ask one of the forum admins to IP check and see if he matches any other forum accounts.

I say don't add either of the two registrations at all; unless the two are siblings.

This Apollo guy was in fort the other day saying he played a long time ago. Seemed fake but now it seems even more fake. I'm surprised he doesn't match anyone else on the forums because he knew how to play.

Raph: IPs can change over time, most nowadays are semi-static.

Elmo: no It's US, not Swiss, though. I'd say he's afraid he won't be picked to play for a US team, so he tries to get into another.

If it truly is Apollo, I'd want him to sign up as himself.
