No, it's not offensive. Why would it be offensive? That doesn't make any sense, again, like bringing them up in the first place. It looked like you were trying to make some sort of point about the Ww tournaments vs Ladle and I don't see any connection. The Wild West CTF Tournaments had less than half the number of players and a timed game-mode. That's why they didn't last as long, not because a "loser bracket" or double-elimination was more efficient. You can see that, right?

His original post was stating that the Ww ctf tourney's double elimination bracket only worked because the games were much shorter and/or a standard length.

No, I am not saying that. If you cannot see the sarcasm in may last response to you, np.

I am against adding a regular double-elimination bracket, it would be a terrible thing. But, a loser's bracket sounds like a great idea! I have said nothing in this topic about the FCL, but now I will.

The FCL is not meant to take away anything from current and future Fortress Tournaments and/or Leagues. It is meant to simply be a weekly get-together of similar skilled clans/teams with a bi-monthly tournament. FCL is planned to be on Saturdays. Note that nobody schedules tournaments at this time, except for the CTF Brawl, for Saturdays. The FCL is meant to help shore up the skills and team cohesiveness of "second tier" teams. FCL teams are encouraged to take part in every Fortress Event, including the Ladle and Tronpions. In fact, while most of you are busy maligning the idea, I have been in contact with the target teams/clans to join the FCL. Most of them come to this forum rarely at best. I have met them in-game, mostly while playing with them in TronZero Noob Fortress.
Of course, I know that all of you think that FCL is stupid at best, np. I know that you all feel that noob teams should just play in Ladles, Tronpions, etc.
I am not asking for server donations. I have only posted about it on these forums for informational reasons, and because debate about it can help me flesh it out. But really, I don't care what most of you think of FCL. FCL isn't really meant for most of you anyway.
Sine, your adding to what I am saying and maligning whatever detail about what I say is rather interesting. I find it so, because I have to wonder what the big deal is. Your constant negative reactions to anything said about FCL, or anything else that I have said makes me wonder what the deal is. I am not trying to "compete" with you or anybody else here. I am doing things to try to enhance the game. If you don't see that, I can say or do nothing to show you.

Ok, I certainly can be a bit oversensitive and have been so here. Which server crapped out?

VA2. It was having problems in the match before as well. The spike we had lasted well over a minute so we decided to leave for VA1.

These VAx servers are cloud servers. It doesn't happen often, but when one is being moved, it becomes laggy. That is probably what happened. I am just glad you were able to move to another one.
