Now, on the other hand, as it pertains to Mecca/Lord Pein's now copying it himself after I said that, I'm quite sure it's more of his typical, long-established, childish poking, taunting, line tip-toe'ing antagonism. Damn fool probably doesn't even understand its significance.

Perceived Obsolescence doesn't work on me because I have no money. Plus, I don't need anything except my guitar and my 9 year old laptop, which is still chugging along nicely.

I actually own two of them now. My friend had one sitting in his closet for a few years and gave it to me for free because it was "junk" to him. And I've acquired a bunch if spare parts too. Over the years I've replaced nearly half the laptop: screen, keyboard, both drives, cooling unit... I can keep this thing going indefinitely, haha. Well, not really. The motherboard is going bad on the faster of the two and doesn't always read the volatile memory correctly.

The old (aka IBM) ThinkPads were proper bricks. I had a 600E that lasted me through quite a bit of school. Finally gave it up because of its inherent battery flaws. I'm not so impressed with the new Lenovo ones.
