imposter... wtf do i do...?
hada crappy bunch of games
when this guy entered the game as 2020
playing on the opposite team
but then joined my team
then tk me and others....
what am i meant to do in this kind of situation?
i kept playing
trying to show by my defence
that i was on the side of my team
but the other players couldn't tell the difference
and i and probably him
got kicked....
maybe only me
because i didn't even reject the vote for 2020 kicking...
in this situation
what am i meant to do?

i had this happen awhile ago so i just ended up changing my name and then it happened again so i changed it again and then again, now i am on another name,[Knob], ive pretty much just resorted to calling everyone a knoob who isnt better than i am, since their is no way in stopping anyone from impostering you. I posted like a year ago about getting passwords for names but i think it got shot down by tank or someone. they seem to go after people who win most of the time so maybe try and not be so good..

thanks joe
hehehe
i appreciate the compliment
however it must be for other reasons than play on the grid
regarding getting shot down...
i have seen this a lot in life...
it is a fundamental error in our educational system -
to be critical is a valuable quality
especially in science
however
it has its time
regarding name-protection
i suspect it will happen sometime
and suspect it is a problematic issue involving networks and centralisation...
but eventually it will have something like what happens here on the forum...
it is all to do with timing...
funnily enough the same guy turned up yesterday
but because there were enough of us who knew each other
garisimo vanhayes ghableska
he got kicked....
i think the best solution is a supporting team...
see you on the grid
joe
we are on the same side

the only problem i see with the whole password thing, and i think this was what tank said, is that all the servers would have to be interconnected or somthing, and their would be alot more data running through the four master servers. And another problem would be that people would go on and take other peoples accounts before they could set it up under the name, with passwords.
