You got me hardcore :p, you know what you should've done? waited untill april 11th to put it back up(supposedly Double April Fools, and for as long jokes are supposed to go, make a back story. durring that time why you stopped. I probably would have had a candle light vigil.

I wasn't convinced. I went to the grid right after to see if I could further convince some people, but no one was online.
Although I was about to call the "jokes on you" card before I remembered the timezones.

Also, isn't tradition that April Fools only lasts till noon? I'm not completely making this up am I?

I was a half-fool. I knew something special (more special?) was going on, but didn't figure out what, and sent an e-mail to Tank at 00:38. I didn't get in the 04-01 mood yet, not going to bed before the end of 03-31.

I have to admit, I was in irc when they were talking about it, and I had already hit my "new posts" bookmark, which is a deep link. So there may be some question to whether or not I would have been caught with it. I guess I'd have to dig up the irc log and try to show how they didn't give it away talking about it.

But why bother? I had already expected tank to pull something anyway.

I got my daughter, though. All day I asked her several times if mommy had talked to her about her room, and she said no and just went off doing whatever it is girls do. When it was time for bed, I gave her this big long spiel about how we didn't get to talk about it, and we'd decided to rent out her room, and the person who was going to sleep in it would be over in an hour and a half, and she'd have to sleep in my car. She got all indignant "Why can't I sleep on the couch?"

Poor girl. She's a good sport, though.

She was smiling when she said she could sleep on the couch. I think she suspected, but wasn't sure. I prank my kids a lot, so they're always on the lookout for my latest attempt.
