Lag and Prediction

Post by locutus »

I know I aint the greatest player out here but it seems to me that lag can teach you a lot about out-guessing people unitl you are ready for that final face-off, There is knowledge in victory and defeat

the other side of that coin is that you get killed a lot and you say, "WTF?" and other people say, "That was like 5 minutes ago dude"

I have same probelm ice, may try a few games with lag-o-meter off. Node doesn't use any of that and flys by the seat of his pants and instinct. I aspire to play that good.

Use the force...trust your feelings node

This is a really old thread longballasch (hell loc is talking about me so it must be positively ancient lol).

Really old = several versions ago and afaik lag/rubber/prediction & related have been the biggest focus for the developers in all the versions since then so absolutely everything said in this tread is likely to be irrelevant for the new current versions (not that I would know (yet) but it seems extremely likely).
