You go into the history
(
of the article you
want to revert
)
then you click on
the date
of the revision you want
to revert
and there you click
on edit
ignore the warning
(
that's what you
want to do
anyways
)
and then click
save page

what necessitates your unnecessary comments?Oscilloscope wrote: The whole damn thing is unnecessary.
do you get some kind of kick out of making comments like this...?
the world is a messy place
essentially because
people just can't live with other people being different
i don't know how old you are
osc
but your level of maturity
doesn't seem to match your intelligence and obvious erudition
if you have any problems with me
then take it out on the grid
on the opposite team
otherwise
leave this space for some contructive comments

The grid isn't real life. Playing an inconsequential video game settles exactly nothing relevant to this matter—not that there's really anything that needs to be "settled." I'll just PM the rest of my comment.

That's the translation I could come up with. The difference is you can still read 2020s' posts even if the style is funky. There's no way to read what you just wrote Osc., without wasting a lot of time on it.Oscilloscope wrote:I will think everything after the manner it is a matter of typing taste. Lets get rid of all the unecessary stuff, and strip life down to the essentials. The whole damn thing is unnecessary
Why bother with custom movie packs in the game? they are just eye candy, and slow the game down. Why have so many polygons in the bike model? a simple rectangle would be adequate.
Why all these game modes? too much. Lets just play the standard game, as originally designed.
In fact, would life collapse without armagetron? or without games altogether?
Do we REALLY need a computer in our home? A TV? Music?
All superfluous bric-a-brac that serves no real purpose.
If we all live on bread and milk, and just work and sleep, the world would surely be a better place.
Or not.

Heh, yeah, I know. I went overboard for my own amusement. Instead, just doing the alternating caps or a basic altering of syntax alone would have been a more "accurate" analog. Or that old "Oxford University Study" gag. Readable, but a pita. Anyway, doesn't matter.Tank Program wrote:That's the translation I could come up with. I agree with this one, actually. I'm not a big fan of the gimmicks, personally.gnorty wrote:Why all these game modes? too much. Lets just play the standard game, as originally designed.
