if you like heavily modifying your system, then go for linux. (gentoo linux if you've got the time to compile everything yourself)

I suppose now we are (were) on the subject of multi-boot etc I'll have to out myself...

quadruple-boot:
== windows xp home sp2 - used for video editing, vcd composition (damn i need to get into this vcdmaker shit) and the occasional GTA or EE game...
== Debian Sarge - only used in emergencies
== Debian unstable - recently crashed all over me; has been superseeded by
== ubuntu breezy - my main system

Do u have a use for 13 computers? Its cool to have a few...

I use a dual boot XP Pro and Server 2003 Ent Ed. I have an old computer that i have Fedora Core 4 on. I thought it would be as good a place to start as any, in the world of linux. My only other experience with linux, is with my server which uses Red Hat Ent Ed.
