Honestly, the damage is already done. I used to think you were a bright kid but I'm absolutely stunned by the nonsense you post.

I've seen this happen before on a different phpbb game forum. One player gradually slid deeper and deeper into right-wing propaganda and every time they were countered with facts they would result to goal-post moving or whataboutism. He became a kind of joke that people would reference in other threads. The only difference here is that he couldn't stop himself from constantly making new threads about the most asinine garbage. The board moderators were extremely forgiving of this behavior and it went on for well over a decade before we has finally banned for basically being insufferable.

You're basically that person now. You should probably stick to your echo chambers, we're a little too thoughtful here.

I still don't see what makes you think I am so far right I am a goner.

I agree with the left on the environment
I used to agree with the left on keeping peace, and not going to wars, but they flipped
I agree with the right on having a smaller government,
I disagree with the left on giving kids drugs, for transitioning, I'm fine post 18, preferable post 24ish, to me it makes no sense you are barely developed and you want to give stuff up.
I disagree with the left on having massive amount of illegal immigrants in the county, and subsidizing them better than the citizens. (the counter of that is I am 100% fine if they come here legally, and yes I agree we need better rules around that)
I agree with whoever will make simpler tax policies, we are way over taxed for what we get.
I'm thanks to you guys more indifferent about a national health care system, If done correctly it would be good, but I don't have any confidence in our government to actually make it run effectively.

If that makes me a far right goner, GFY, If I'm no longer "bright" because of this, I think if you asked me 15 years ago, I would have said the same, maybe flipped on transgender issues, and that's because of the way it's been playing out, I would have been under 21 then, and did not realize the full effects.

And no I did not mention abortion above, because that's a tricky one, There is no national ban on abortion, it's only at state levels. I've started leaning more pro life, than I used to be, but I don't know enough about to to really make an informed enough decision on it. There is always room for it if having the kid is going to cause death to the mother, and rape, especially of the under-aged, but when older, that's the one that gets tricky.

Oh that nothingburger. Hunter Biden was not part of the government, the whole thing happened in 2019, I can't quite remember who was in charge back then... and social media sites blocked the story on their own accord because it smelled of Russian disinformation, which, fair enough, turned out to be wrong. But all of the evidence really coming off of that was Hunter's drug problem, again, nothing to do with any government activity whatsoever.

Got specifics? All I can find is Zuckerberg talking, just recently, on Joe Rogan, about pressure to that effect, and according to him, they did not budge, which I applaud. And, well, the timing... if he really thought that was so scandalous, why has he not published it earlier? Like, right when it was happening? It's evident from elsewhere he wants to get on Trumps good side. (Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying he is outright lying there. Just, maybe, sprucing it up a little to please the known audience.)

Do you know how many trans athletes there would even be? Can you name a single one without looking them up? The whole thing is a made up problem blown way out of proportion. At the school level, it's just girls wanting to play on a team with their girl friends. Care about fairness? Fine, give them a quota, at most one trans girl per team on the field at any time. Problem ******* solved. And it does not, in no way, warrant the other crackdowns. Forced determined-at-birth sex in official documents. Banning of non-gender-conforming haircuts for kids (not the haircuts themselves, at least... you just can't get them professionally anymore). And I already forgot about two thirds of the previous ones.

You don't see it because your blindspot is huge. Your posts are full of regurgitated right-wing propaganda and from what I can tell you really do believe that the Democratic Party is a bunch of radical "woke" leftists. That is absurd. As an actual leftist I would love to have someone to vote for, but I don't. There is no viable leftist party in the US. The Democratic Party has very few left-leaning policies and those they actually work towards barely qualify for the weakest form of socialism imaginable. Even their best effort in national healthcare, the ACA, is just a scam to funnel paychecks and tax dollars to capitalists. Also, you seem to be under the impression that somehow businesses are inherently better than government but that's a misunderstanding of what government is and it's responsibilities.

Everything you post points to an extremely narrow, distorted, US-centric view of the political landscape. Of course everyone can have an opinion, but from the outside it looks like yours are formed without compassion, without a first hand understanding of real struggle, and without a clear and optimistic view of human destiny. Unfortunately, the path to a deeper understanding usually involves crises and uncomfortable levels of self-reflection, and that just doesn't happen with everyone.

No you don't. You voted for a billionaire real estate developer who views environmental regulations as a barrier to making more money and created DOGE to gut the EPA, among other organizations. You do *not* agree with the left on the environment. You don't even know what "the left" stands for on the environment.
I used to agree with the left on keeping peace, and not going to wars, but they flipped
No they didn't. The left has been pretty consistent on their views on keeping the peace. There's been no flipping at all. I don't know what you think you agreed to before that you're now willing to sell out Ukraine and Palestine, but the left has always supported Ukrainian independence and a two state solution in Palestine. Again, you don't know what "the left" actually stands for.
I agree with the right on having a smaller government,
Not really. You want the government to make healthcare decisions through legislation for large numbers of people. Your next statement gives it away.
I disagree with the left on giving kids drugs, for transitioning, I'm fine post 18, preferable post 24ish, to me it makes no sense you are barely developed and you want to give stuff up.
The left doesn't believe in transitioning kids before they're adults. You have absolutely no understanding of either transgender people or "the left's" views of treating transgender people. So it's a lie for you to say you disagree with the left. You disagree with the strawman version of the left that your right-wing media has given you.
I disagree with the left on having massive amount of illegal immigrants in the county, and subsidizing them better than the citizens. (the counter of that is I am 100% fine if they come here legally, and yes I agree we need better rules around that)
Ironically, this means you actually agree with the left, yet you say you disagree. You don't know what the REAL left thinks, you only know what you've been told by the people who want you to believe in the bogeyman leftist.
I agree with whoever will make simpler tax policies, we are way over taxed for what we get.
Wait until you see what the country looks like after DOGE has done its work. You'll change this view pretty quickly.
I'm thanks to you guys more indifferent about a national health care system, If done correctly it would be good, but I don't have any confidence in our government to actually make it run effectively.
I think after your first serious bout with dysentery after the EPA is gutted, you'll change your thinking here, too.

That's the nice thing about DOGE, after it kills a few million people by dismantled regulation, we'll put the regulations back in place and move forward. "The left" is hoping to avoid learning this lesson by letting a few million people die. But whatever, dude, you do you.
If that makes me a far right goner, GFY, If I'm no longer "bright" because of this, I think if you asked me 15 years ago, I would have said the same, maybe flipped on transgender issues, and that's because of the way it's been playing out, I would have been under 21 then, and did not realize the full effects.
The transgender issues are playing out like they are because of insecure men who don't like knowing they're attracted to women with penises. That's the source of all the insecurity here. It's "Dude looks like a lady" made into public policy. OMG it's so ridiculous. I've never imagined that men would be so insecure in their masculinity that they'd have to target transgender women as a major platform policy for a huge political party. Now who's being triggered? Seriously, right-wingers are the worst snowflakes around. This is why when you say you voted for Trump, I assume you have a little dick and you're insecure about the bras you secretly wear, and you fear people like me who talk openly about these things like it's ******* Tuesday, because it is Tuesday for me.
No, it's not a tricky one. You don't get to force your views on when life begins onto other people. You keep your damn religion to yourself. If you really and truly believed in small government, you would not be using the government to make medical decisions through legislation for other people. You would let those people make their own medical decisions in proper consultation with their doctors. You don't believe that. So you're full of shit when you say you believe in small government. You believe in the biggest government imaginable, because you believe government should be making private, personal decisions for people.

On these forums, you're surrounded by leftists. And yet you continue to tell us what you think we think, and you're consistently wrong. The fact that you don't see this means you're lying about how you're willing to change your views based on facts. You're just straight up lying. This is why sinewav is saying you're a goner. You are. You're spouting lies about literally everyone else posting in this thread, and you just can't bring yourself to say "Hey, you guys are all leftists, and you say leftists don't think what I'm telling you you think". You're full of shit. You know you made a bad decision supporting Trump, and you're just rationalizing it so you don't have to be accountable. **** off.

And going back a bit, that demands strong disagreement on so many levels...
1. "weaken" by transitioning? So women are inherently weaker than men? Not in any way that matters.
2. So you affect a whole population by allowing a tiny subset to live the life they wish for themselves? How does that work?
3. The people you are talking about here are not men to begin with, only in your head.
4. Transition regrets do exists, but are really rare. These people largely know very well what they are actually doing.

Musk's salute: That was by far not the only reason. It's just, so far, the easiest single thing to point to. The thing where *everyone* should stop and ponder whether the people saying he was a bit fascist were right all along.

This should not need saying: I don't support vandalism, not even against Teslas. Not buying the cars, that I can obviously get behind. Sales are down more than 75% around here compared to the same months last year, while other EVs thrive. Sure, the revised Model Y has an effect, because some people probably held back their purchase for it, but that can't explain the whole drop. Tesla was a trailblazer and surely helped get the EV transition going, and I'm grateful to everyone who did any actual work there. But at the end of the day, it's a corporation. We owe them no unconditional loyalty.

From my prospective you don't feel compassionate about the girls getting hurt by the trans-girls, can you not have empathy for them, the body has physical limits due to your sex, so when you place an XY body into an XX sport like track, they are going to be able to dominate it. or like with volleyball they have much more power and cause severe injuries. Do you not feel any empathy for Payton McNabb?

We already have a lot of rules to protect children because their brains are still developing, they are still learning, still finding out who they are, somehow you think people know instantly this is who they are, who they are meant to be, I don't believe that to be the case. This is why we have smoking and drinking ages, to protect the underdeveloped brain. The better question is what percentage of kids who think they want to transition, would group up and change their mind about it.

But I know sinewav doesn't believe in free will, he believes you are who you are and you cannot change it, but I believe we can, yes our whole life is made of decisions and information to take in process and interpret it. Lets say there is a young boy looks up to his sister, and wants to spend time with her, so he believes he needs to dress like her, be her, he's failed to learn that you don't have to look like her to look up to her. Or lets say a mother leaves a very bad impact on her daughter, and she doesn't want to be like her, so she gets her father to help transition her to be more like him, to be a man? Later on they both realize they want to have kids but can't because of something that influenced them too young. learning a bunch of information can change your ideas on things and you can train you mind to do certain things.

So in the end I think Government getting in the way of harm to a child is good, even though I preference a smaller government, some things are unavoidable when they are causing harm to people (yet I know you argue not allowing them to transition is more harmful, so how many kids died from being tarns 100 years ago, because they could not transition? Likely not near as many that are going down the transitioning path now). what about all the other mammals in nature, none of them have access to ways to just switch genders.
Z-Man wrote: Tue Mar 25, 2025 5:30 pm 1. "weaken" by transitioning? So women are inherently weaker than men? Not in any way that matters.

ya you guys already say I lost it, I don't give any more f**ks, so for what it's worth I'll spell it out, make me be the "joke" guy for being brave enough to actually spell this out to you all. It's such a simple concept, but yet so many people are unable to hear it or think it is just a lie because they want to secretly think that they can change, well I got news for you all
I am pretty sure XY means Male and XX means female, it's only in your head that somehow your chromosomes no longer determine your gender. I am still trying to figure out how a transwomen could ever live the life of a women without periods or giving birth. If you transition male to female, you are never actually a women. Now I've said it, again I'm OK if someone wants to transition, but in my book that does not change your sex, it just makes you sterile and changes your appearance, that way you can fill that bra better and look better in panties. It also makes you dependant on the pharmaceutical industry for the rest of your life, Go pharmaceutical billionaires, because somehow they are better billionaires than the man that cannot be bought, that has the company working towards backing up life and making plans to have abundance for all, because he has autism and raised his hand the wrong way, no empathy for the guy with autism, but a shit loaf of empathy for the person who thinks they can change their sex. this is what's wrong with your lack of compassion here. it's just all misplaced on illogical things.

Anyway my shift on this for what its worth came from my understanding on how abusive parents can be towards their kids, read "i'm glad my mom died" -Jennette Mccurdy you might learn that you can actually change your mind and reprogram it

EDIT forgot to respond to these two things

When they literally take the car they sell 75% of from the market for a month or two to retool globally, sales will go down by get it 75%
Also wanted to point out, I traded mine in for one, the upgraded platform is amazing, the quality in the suspension makes it feel like you are floating on a cloud going down the road. FSD is flawless, and it's beautiful, I think I know what love is now.

Yes, very "brave" misogyny. From your posts I can only come to the conclusion you are an incel with an unhealthy fixation on transwomen. This "simple concept" isn't simple once you realize intersex people exist (they DO exist). Also, from a historical standpoint, cultures will sometimes adopt androgyny as a desirable trait for a while (most recently Victorian era Europe) and it's possible we are transitioning through one now.

I can't imagine being as uptight as you. And if you really cared about children you would probably support socialist policies (it's why we don't have child labor anymore).

EDIT:
kyle wrote: Wed Mar 26, 2025 1:11 amDo you not feel any empathy for Payton McNabb?
There is a lot of anti-trans propaganda surrounding this story and a lot of unverified claims. Since there is little truth to be known, instead I'll share a story. Nearly 20 years ago I was watching live roller derby because I knew some of the players indirectly. These girls were tough as bricks, and me, a grown man, would absolutely would not fight one (because I would lose). During the match I watched a girl get her neck broken. The entire building was mortified and the event was immediately cancelled. Two points I want to make: 1) The girls who play this sport are absolute bruisers and, in some stereotypical ways, extremely manly. 2) Freak accidents happen in sports and you can't always blame someone.

kyle wrote: Wed Mar 26, 2025 1:11 am We already have a lot of rules to protect children
How many of these rules so far are in place to protect the children from Doctors? Last I checked, Doctors don't tend to prescribe drinking and smoking.
kyle wrote: Wed Mar 26, 2025 1:11 am so how many kids died from being tarns 100 years ago, because they could not transition?
Well, 80-85 years ago, they surely had bigger worries and more relevant causes of deaths when they were rounded up along with Jews, communists and homosexuals for the concentration camps, around here at least... and considering homosexuality was still illegal in all of the USA about sixty years ago and trans people typically had it worse, lack of the medical procedures we have today wasn't at the top of their list of problems.
Here is a study that does not go back as far: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC7317390/ and it is limited to people who at least were in a program with gender-affirming surgery, so precisely the data we don't need to answer the question. Oh well.
kyle wrote: Wed Mar 26, 2025 1:11 am It [Hormone Treatment] also makes you dependant on the pharmaceutical industry for the rest of your life, Go pharmaceutical billionaires
A significant portion of cis people also receive hormone treatment. And not just women in menopause. Actually, I just googled "Hormone Therapy" or "HRT", and had to work a bit to find the first mention of trans people :) It's an open market, the medicine is well researched and not protected by IP rights, so this should be an area where the market forces work well and bring down the cost, right?

Autism does not make you an asshole. I can't speak for everyone, but billionaires (yeah, pharma billionaires too) don't have a very good starting position to begin with when it comes to receiving my empathy.

No, if anything, I would classify that as sabotage, interfering with the production process. But it's not even that. I have no contract with them to give good training data for their AI, so no obligation to provide it.

The percentage is much smaller than 99%. It could actually be under 50%, we don't have enough data. Also, the XY pair is getting bred out and may cease to exist in another hundred years or so, as it already has in numerous other mammalian species. There are hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of XX men with fully functional reproductive systems, along with a comparable number of XY women, also with fully functional reproductive systems, all cisgender.

The XY/XX model is obsolete, and has been for awhile now.

What? That would be very surprising to me (The 50% bit. The millions bit, sure. Among 8 billion, a couple of millions are not that many). Tons of people are using gene scanning services nowadays to check for distant relatives, surely such trends would show there? Admittedly, they don't fully analyze the genome, AFAIK, they just fingerprint it, check the bits that vary them most.
