Clans (or whatever they're called) Help

I see a lot of players in-game with a {xxx} in front of their name with letters representing what I am guessing is a clan or guild or whatever you want to call it. I want to know where on the forums they recruit or if they're just built into the game (like Pokemon Go teams).

Nah, it's not built in. If they got a website, I don't know it (they got no clan server with an URL - the typical way of finding out for me). So apart from "try asking them", I got nothing, sorry

Welcome to the forums, there's a list on the wiki but most of these clans don't exist anymore. You'd have to ask a member to learn about their application procedure and forums adress.

Yeah , it's a stress reducer that many of those clans don't exist anymore. In retrospect the rivalries were always some virtual version of West Side Story with better dance choreography.
