Looking for a native English speaker
Looking for a native English speaker
I currently work as a translator (from Slovenian to English) and I'd need someone to help me out with my recent job. I need it to be perfect but I'm sure I've made some mistakes like missing commas etc. The text is 1500 characters long so if anyone has the time and heart to do this, I'm attaching the file below. Thanks! <3
edit: turns out I can't attach .docx here, I can PM it to anyone who's interested.

You can attach .zip files, if that helps.

I can help you. But I'd rather receive it as plaintext than a docx file, but whatever.

I feel like at 1,500 characters, you could just throw it in code or quote tags. It doesn't feel large enough to worry about attaching.Z-Man wrote:You can attach .zip files, if that helps.

Re: Looking for a native English speaker
I think he meant to say 1500 words. I didn't do a word count, but it felt like it was about that long. You know, average post length for me.

You're right - it's 1500 words, I screwed up in the original post and didn't notice, sorry about that!Lucifer wrote:I think he meant to say 1500 words. I didn't do a word count, but it felt like it was about that long. You know, average post length for me.
I just wanna say despite a couple of try-hard trolls here, this forum is still awesome. I haven't played Tron regularly in years now, but somehow I can never quit checking this forum on a daily basis and I'm sure I'm not the only one. We have a small but great community that I basically grew up with. I love this place.

I think that is true for many people here. Even for some really old you haven't seen on in ages If you ask meSlov wrote:We have a small but great community that I basically grew up with. I love this place

I had the same problem on Windows, I could connect like 1 out of every 10 tries. It was a runtime error caused by referencing an invalid/corrupt memory location (something like that). I tried a lot of things, but strangely it resolved itself after a few months.
Re: Looking for a native English speaker
Maybe you would have some luck with an 0.4 version of the client?Slov wrote:for some reason every time i try to connect to master server, my client crashes (it makes the circle of death on my mac)

Re: Looking for a native English speaker
That's actually an old version from Feb 2012. I have yet to see a newer version show up anywhere, but if you're willing to compile it yourself, you can grab the source for one last updated on November 18 of 2015.Slov wrote:it's working, had no idea 0.4 was already outLight wrote:Maybe you would have some luck with an 0.4 version of the client?Slov wrote:for some reason every time i try to connect to master server, my client crashes (it makes the circle of death on my mac)
