I'm still not sure which track to recommend here, but Sufjan Stevens is interesting. He's doing the Simon & Garfunkel thing all on his own.
edit: Oh, the BQE soundtrack is great.

I suppose the joke was lost on most people since they wouldn't know the album is actually called Black & Blue. I don't blame themPhytotron wrote:Oh my god.Titanoboa wrote:Backstreet Boys - Shape of my heart[/url]
From their best album: White & Gold

today's contribution, some good old classic funk: Soul with a capital S * Tower Of Power

Well, I'll assume I'm probably sympathetic to the lyrics, but I couldn't sit through that, that damn song. It's still BAH BAH BLACKSHEEP.
Arcade Fire is so incredibly overrated.Word wrote:will-butler
About time you got it right. (Although, while ToP may be 'classic,' 1993 isn't. Go back to their '70s stuff with WB.)Titanoboa wrote:today's contribution, some good old classic funk: Soul with a capital S * Tower Of Power
You did watch the Nardwuar interview, right?nara wrote:Emily

Re: What are you listening to right now?
sure, but better them than someone worseArcade Fire is so incredibly overrated.

Have you heard of the Preatures? I like the music, but I just can't stand that pseudo-80's-video (as in, the worse part of the 80's), even though I know it's supposed to be funny.
(Another song, and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly jam.)
Re: What are you listening to right now?
Oh no...I have not, and I'm resistant to watching it because I feel like it's going to reveal something wrong with her and I don't want to know (I caught the interviewer saying "the Sparks song right?" so I'm guessing the song is in some way similar to Coldplay's "Sparks"? Though if that's it it happens pretty often in music). I don't usually look into the personality behind the music. You did watch the Nardwuar interview, right?nara wrote:Emily
