My Impending Retirement

Post by Lucifer »

Don't worry, this has nothing to do with recent events here.

I have been offered a job for a new startup that wants to develop games for a new platform they're developing. I can't tell you about that, so just watch the news.

The flagship game will be based on arma, but since it cant be GPL, i will also be selling them every line of code I've written for arma (yes, both of them), and the rest of the game will be built around my code.

Unfortunately, that requires me to remove both lines of code from arma.

Since that's what I'm working on for the remainder of the day, i won't be able to respond here until tomorrow.

It's been fun, keep on dumping!

Ah, I'll invest some of the money I just inherited from my deceased millionaire aunt if you allow me to. I already bought enough Unity3d licenses for all of you (semi-)active developers to revamp the game, but it was supposed to be a surprise...please don't tell me that investment won't pay off!

Every line of code? Please tell me this code has nothing to do with the ingame chat feature.... I couldn't live without hearing people whine about lag every time they die!!

I can only see that as; he should be Thomas The Tank Engine
...And even that's a leap from "not driving at all"

Edit: here's it; if it's yo' bi'day: Birthday Thomas Madness
Here's it if you like Will Smith

Here it is if you're interested in something I produced
I made this by accident, I was listening to the previous linked songs and had an add pop-up in another window...
It sounded delightful so I thought I'd share it with you (It's not like how I heard it but doesn't lose it's charm).

Edit: Edit: for those who think my one is just noise, just give a "+1"
