this seems pretty simple so i'm sure it has been suggested before. But we should create a welcome message for arma. In brief it will provide some history of the game, its strong points such as raw simplicity yet high modability (is this a word ), the aspect of competitive play and such yada yada yada and put it on the forums, then a bunch of players, whoever wants to participate can post the "information pack" onto other gaming forums for a bit of publicity. It seems only logical that we should direct our attention to pre-existing gamers in promoting the game. Since there going to be the players with the most drive to succeed.

This in theory should bring at least a few more players to the game+forums. If as many people as possible participate we can get the "information pack" onto many different forums and if each forum sparks just 1 player of interest in the game and from those players half actually persist in becoming averagely good that's an achievement right?

On 0.4 i believe there is a tutorial section in the menu of the game that teaches some basic stuff.

So you fall into the section of project youtube channel about promoting the game and all that everyone wanna do yet nobody found time to do.

its not youtube... has nothing to do with youtube, its an information pack about the game that we can basically spam to other forums, im sure a fair few people here play other games. that was the idea
