What are Gauntlet Games?

The Gauntlet Games is a 3 to 4 day(still being decided) competition event for the best of the best to compete. It will feature 4 main sumo game modes Sumo 1v1 , Sumo Bar (8 person) , Team Sumo 2v2v2v2 and War Sumo 3v3.
There will be 1 wildcard game that will be voted on at some point in the summer months (1v1 sb/sbSBT/WST 3v3 new map/No rubber 1v1v1v1 Sumo/Classic Sumo 1v1v1v1/ Mega WST 3v3v3v3, if you would like to add more or maybe even make your own wild card map please reply to this thread and tell us.

How do I play in the Gauntlet Games?
There will be Qualifier Tournaments taken place between now and to the end of November

There will be 4 Sumo 1v1 Qualifiers, 2 people getting qualified at each Qualifier
There will be 4 Sumo Bar Qualifiers, 4 people getting qualified at each Qualifier
There will be 4 Team Sumo Qualifiers, 2 teams getting qualified at each Qualifier
There will be 4 War Sumo Qualifiers. 2 teams getting qualified at each Qualifier

Wild card will have just 1 or 2 Qualifier(s) , just depends on what gets voted

How many players are going to play in each gamemode?
Sumo 1v1: 8 players
Sumo bar: 16 players
Team Sumo: 8 teams
War Sumo: 8 teams
Wildcard: *this will be decided depending on the vote that will take place

What's the point of this and What do I get if I win?
The point of this is to crown the champion(s) of sumo of that game mode, they will be the best of the best and hold the title of the 2015 gauntlet champion of their winning gamemode.

There will be 2 prizes in each Sumo game mode, 1 trophy & 1 prize(amazon gift card I'm thinking? suggestions)
The winners will receive via mail, a trophy! The winners will be responsible for giving their correct mailing address to the event hoster(Cody, me lol)

Gauntlet Champion 2015 War Sumo: Team Name & Player Names

Any suggestions or prize suggestions?

When you say 4 day competition, would that be 4 days in a row, or 4 separate weeks/weekends? Some people might qualify for every tournament and may not be able to do that is what it sounds like. (that is, if I'm reading this correctly)

The actual Gauntlet Games are planned to happen consecutively. At this moment, I'm thinking about doing it over just one weekend.

Friday: Team Sumo & War Sumo
Saturday: Sumo 1v1 & Wild Card
Sunday: Sumo Bar


Or doing it between 2 Sundays

Sunday 1: Team Sumo & War Sumo
Sunday 2: Sumo 1v1 & Wild Card & Sumo Bar

Keep in mind these Games will be MUCH shorter than the actual tournaments they are based off.

what if you qualify for let's say 1v1 sumo, can you still participate in another qualifier for 1v1 sumo?
