Whenever I hear that song, Virgin Suicides pops into my head. Apart from Playground Love, I enjoy listening to the album "Moon Safari", some great pieces on there.Word wrote:Air:

Tame Impala - Mind Mischief
Some might argue the similarity to Pink Floyd is too strong. However they do use a large number of own elements which give an unique touch. Recommended album: Lonerism.
Bonobo - Cirrus
I wouldn't call it his best song, doesn't change the fact that it's an awesome video. Recommended album: Dial M for Monkey
Jamie Woon - Night Air
Nothing new, just like it. Recommended album: Mirrorwriting

This song is ridiculously good. I cannot help but smile like an idiot while listening to it.Word wrote:RJD2

Re: What are you listening to right now?
I'm checking out a ton of rather obscure psychedelic rock bands from the late 60s/early 70s now (you find them all on youtube, but I'll just list the names here since they're all cross-referenced and uploaded by the same two guys).
Caravan
Border Town (Fusion)
Soft Machine
Black Merda
Catfish (Get down, Live Catfish)
Kak
Sweet Smoke
The Elders (Album title "Looking for the Answer", since there are lots of bands with that name)
Poliphony - Poliphony (not to be confused with "Polyphony")
Brainticket
and some stuff that my parents abandoned years ago:
Cowboy Junkies
Leo Kottke
Steely Dan
Miles Davis's Kind of Blue Album
(Sweet Smoke, that's how I found all the other bands)
Toni Childs
Sam Brown
