Esquire's Interview with Megan Fox Is the Worst Thing Ever Written
(as the topic title implies this is another thread that can be revived whenever one finds something worse)

My university has turned bathroom graffiti into a pastime. The janitors don't even bother to clean it up. I definitely can't post any of it here, but I can tell you right now that I'm glad that there are no children that visit.

Re: The worst things that have ever been written
I think Kyle's post is the worst thing ever written primarily because he stole my joke and presented it with more style than I was going to use.

I hate the complete works of Shakespeare with a passion. That would get my vote for the worst thing(s) ever written.

"MEGAN FOX BELIEVES THAT BEING FAMOUS IS WORSE THAN BEING BULLIED"
Of course I can't really imagine what it feels like, but I assume the whole being a millionaire thing makes up for the negative aspects of fame...............

Re: The worst things that have ever been written
Of course, how could I forget that. Ok, so the complete works of Shakespeare is, in my opinion, the second worst thing ever written. The sum of all religious texts comes first.sinewav wrote:The Bible

Okay:
Richard Dawkins when he's attacking his own misinterpretations of Christianity.

There are just as many crazy atheists out there. I don't like to turn this into another discussion about religion though, so I'll just link you here.

For reasons of civility, I'm just going to pretend you thought it fits the subject of the thread.

I didn't because I expected something else. I should have specified the thread and said you're supposed to post or link an analysis of a text whose style is so bad it's halfway entertaining, instead of just saying "this and that book/author is bad" and just pick rather popular candidates (the bible, Shakespeare, now I did it myself, with Dawkins - just to shoot back). You're right that fundamentalists are dumb and dangerous.Jonathan wrote:For reasons of civility, I'm just going to pretend you thought it fits the subject of the thread.
If the bible was truly one of the worst things ever written in that sense, it wouldn't have kept us busy for so many centuries - regardless if you're religious or not. In other words, as long as atheists criticize us for "cherry-picking", it can't be that bad (and again, I also don't think Dawkins is that bad, either).

Anything in my handwriting.
My penmanship is atrocious.
