Velocity is back in business and we're starting fresh with new forums. We really want to be community focused this time, so we made some changes. First off, clan leaders and moderators are granted a private section on the forum where they can talk about issues, ideas, and last minute substitutes. I know there are multiple personalities on tron, so I ask that you keep it civil. Additionally, you can submit your clan link on our forums to better promote your clan. Nice to see you guys back again. In the past ID and Velocity had been friends and had lots of fun competition. As we are rebuilding and building what I like to think of as ID V3, it will be nice to see VcL V2 around!

I think that it is Gonzap who has made posts about word saying things negative about other clans since, for now, the clan Word was leading is gone. I suppose it is pretty easy for anybody to make fun of ID, especially since we don't have a Fortress team and have never won a Ladle. After all, it seems around here that is the most important thing to most of the posters.
I suppose it means nothing to a person like Word that ID is the 3rd oldest continuously running clan in this game. Only SP and CT have been around longer.
I suppose it is easy for someone who's clan is for now "on hold" to make fun of a clan that for what ever reason naturally continues to attract recruits. Even more interesting to choose to do that in a topic where a clan is coming back. It makes one wonder if jealousy is a motivation.

Ummm, I seem to remember Word making comments about other clans long before PRU disbanded. I suspect Word's motivation is comedy not jealousy because he says funny stuff sometimes. And what is there to be jealous of? Because PRU wasn't known to be a winning clan? That might hold weight if Word only made jokes about clans with better records, but he's picked on clans that were worse too. You know why? Because everyone picks on everyone else, so don't get your undies in a bundle (link provided to explain the idiom).

Funny, gotta get your little dig in, no problem. Of course, the ironic thing is that you were a member of ID once. In fact, many of the best Fortress/Sumo players in this game got a start in ID. That history and continuity does deserve some respect, even if you have none for it. I am not saying that ID has been perfect angels through the years, not by any means.

Anyway, let's get this back to v2.

1. You can return the favour whenever you want to, I don't mind.

2. This is not ID vs PRU, I just can't see how you're going to have a "third ID version" when you still don't have the laid back attitude or thick skin you pretend to have, as illustrated by your replies (or by deleting my account some weeks ago - of course you can do what you want on your forums - but am I supposed to congratulate your clan for that?).

3. Not that you care, but our clan came into being because nobody of us really liked clans in the first place. Regardless how old a clan is, that doesn't forbid you to make jokes about it - if the jokes are good or bad is a different question. It's nothing special for me; in the past Gonzap, Gazelle, Slov, random RZ, and UNA/BS/DS members have said I was obsessed with their respective clan. Fair treatment.

4. Neither was this intended to be a personal insult. It's as if someone tells a friend "what you just said made no sense". Calm down please.

5. How is anything in that image "wrong", or new? Mind you, I've addressed most of that some months and years ago, even before you were in ID. Evidence? Got deleted.

6. As far as jealousy or the opposite, arrogance, is concerned, I'm not sure what you mean. Every clan I can think of attracted good players at one time or another, but few clans could keep them. If anything deserves respect (generally speaking), it's keeping players, helping them to improve, not just attracting them.
