Re: What made you feel great today?
This should be splitted if all German tronners are going to brag with their A levels now....
As for myself, I got a stupid teacher (for the record, my own father is a teacher - I usually blame myself for getting bad marks somewhere and I had many good teachers as well) in social studies, the topic of our exam were the results of 'school elections' she had organized with her colleagues. I was being honest and tried to say politely that many pupils did not seem to take them seriously, seeing that the communist/nazi party always appeared to be far too successful compared to real elections. So i got 3 out of 15 points for that (I wrote a lot more of course, but I guess after reading this bit she hated me - because she just wrote a large question mark over that passage as if I was saying something crazy), 11 and 12 in German and English, and 12 in biology (oral exam).
(not that playing Arma ever really dragged my grades down!)

Re: What made you feel great today?
Like I thought, a box and whiskers plot proved to convey much more information from my dataset, allowing me to further narrow choices for recommendation! (Chipping away at ye ol' PHD wot.)
Re: What made you feel great today?
In case you missed it, this topic is about what has made you feel great - if that's what made them feel great, what's so wrong about it? (And btw, in the last few lines in your post you also talk about your good grades. If we're going to follow your logic, you just trolled yourself.Word wrote:This should be splitted if all German tronners are going to brag with their A levels now....
Anyway, I just realized that there are holidays in 3 days again! Freaking awesome!

I don't know about you, but I can read and know what the topic title is (see the post that revived this before dread's page break).theroze wrote:mindless garbage
Firstly I did nowhere say that it was wrong to post your results here (and being a bit proud of it, too) but if everyone's going to do that a separate topic would make sense.
Secondly I clearly didn't brag about the good exam I could possibly have achieved but explained how I ruined it (because it could possibly entertain people who are less dumb than you).
Thirdly I also didn't troll myself but mostly took out some anger on this occasion (which won't change my grades). I'm not sure where you see a logical connection between trolling and my grades.
The only point I tried to make was that my grades were unfair, not that they were good. Thanks to that social studies surprise they actually weren't good enough for the numerus clausus required by a couple of universities for the subjects that interested me the most.

A 40 km bike ride in the heat, and I didn't take water with me. It's all over my skin though.

"Splitted" isn't a word. "Splat" is a word, but isn't the one you want there. It remains "split."
Our phone/internet got hooked back up today. Wethinks a lightning strike Tuesday morning might've fried the modem. Or something.

Thanks, not sure how often I've used "splitted" by now...
