REMEMBER: Look for the respawn bug and post back here with the affected servers! Spread the word. We need everyone's help to solve the problem. Don't disappoint.

Compguy brawl is in couple hours and your server is still on brawl 14..
Please update a.s.a.p!

I set vov's script on `ihptru - NL` server to count delay before round win. It will show `Delay: <time>` in console, so you can screen shot to prove if this happenssinewav wrote:REMEMBER: Look for the respawn bug and post back here with the affected servers! Spread the word. Well that was pretty cool. 1st time playing ctf, i'll definitely be back for more. Grats U those were some good matches.
Re: CTF BRAWL 15
It happened in Alpha Project - USA, but only once was it fast enough to affect the round/match. The delay seemed to vary between 0-3 seconds as if it's due to lag and not a bug. It was unpredictable, anyway.sinewav wrote:REMEMBER: Look for the respawn bug and post back here with the affected servers! Spread the word. We need everyone's help to solve the problem. On another note, that server had serious lag issues overall. It even killed everyone at the same time to tie a couple of rounds.
Re: CTF BRAWL 15
Ok, thanks. That's version 0.2.9-sty+ct_alpha_r763.
Again, I'm seeing 5 different server versions listed. Let's try to get that down to one version, preferably 0.2.8-sty+ct_alpha_20110812, and go from there. Server stability IS a problem in Brawl. Owners, please, coordinate with each other and help make Brawl better.

Slightly late, but congrats again ~'U, was fun playing against you, if not the best of luck... But it was fun, and everyone did well!
Re: CTF BRAWL 15
Special thanks to Tru, Comp, Animuson and Alpha Project for the servers
& to all the admins who help to make the brawl run smoothly
Server bug-wise I personally did not see any problem in comps VA server, but that was the only server I got to play in.
I heard from quite a few people that there was a lot of lag in the finals.. (Too many binds?) idk
Anyways thanks to all that played!
Hope to see you at brawl 16

Re: CTF BRAWL 15
We saw the bug in VA4 today around 8pm EST. That means .2.8-sty+ct_alpha20110812 is probably affected too. However, it's possible only gene's servers are affected since I haven't seen bug cries from any other servers.
We should definitely get all the servers on the same version. This might rule out a bug and point to a something else, like a server host. Please, please consider joining together for this.

Re: CTF BRAWL 15
I only considered using a script to show round end delay on server version I use. If all admins set it up, it's easy to define if bug happened or not having shown delay as proof.
