UDP Ports and norton. @.@
UDP Ports and norton. @.@
Ok, I Appollogise if this situation has been covered before, but I've been looking over the net on how to do this and its getting rather irritating.. I just got a new laptop and I tried to get on Armagetron and it isn't connecting to the Master servers.. My only guess is that its the UDP ports that need to be allowed, because I already allowed the game with my firewall and norton anti-virus..and the problem continues.. So, I'm wondering how to allow the 4533-4540 UDP ports using norton?@.@
Re: UDP Ports and norton. @.@
Uninstall Norton or, better, format your hard drive and do a fresh Windows install without Norton. It's notoriously problematic.
Re: UDP Ports and norton. @.@
Ok, I tried uninstalling Norton, but it still wont connect.. Stupid UDP ports. -.-
Edit: Ok, I tried unistalling norton.. Allowing the program with my firewall and I figured out ho to allow the ports as well, yet it still doesn't work..

Yeah, that's the thing, Norton is notoriously hard to get rid of properly, too. To be extra safe, you should probably eliminate Armagetronad from all lists of other firewall software, like the one included with Windows. One false click at the wrong time and software can get on its naughty list.

I figured it out... It was my firewall on my wireless router that was stopping it. X.x
