Re: Rest in peace Dark Syndicate
If you look at the insert Disk team, you will see it consists of ID'rs and VCL'rs.

Re: Rest in peace Dark Syndicate
All of the members just lost interest I was sad to see it end that way, but all of the "core" members were tired of trying. Also, all the personality just disappeared. So, we can add Deja vu to one of the short lived clans that was memorable for a month or two . /me sighs
I would like to enter though, so I'll ask vcl/Nani about it.
Any word on if DS is officially dead or giving it another shot?

They say they are an Open Team.
Now I'm confused because compguy said iD consists of IDers and VCLers but none of them showed for their first match (so there wasn't much to look at, heh) and you (Acid) say now that you're thinking about starting VCLs own team? That would be cool if ID would do the same but I'd ask compguy first - and show up next time regardless what team you're on
(you already get points for showing up and playing all matches. ragequitting is for brainless cowards)

Quitting is for cowardly ragers.
Raging is for brainless quitters.
Cowardice is for rageless brains.
Re: Rest in peace Dark Syndicate
With the fall of DS and DV, this really stirs the pot. Right now there are quite a number of "free-agents" out there (if you consider members of VcL, ID, and UNA too). It will be interesting to see which teams pick up new members and if a completely new team forms out of the residual of these recent breakups. Personally, I hope some good players migrate to PRU. I always feel like PRU is one ringer away from breaking into regular showings in the Ladle-semi finals.
Re: Rest in peace Dark Syndicate
Yeah, thanks
SP and we got lucky when arrow died - both of us could gather 6 ex-arrows (SP got Fofo, psy, schwulaoff, cyclo, Lizmatic and viper while we had Gaspard, freako, slash, Hamar, Sixzero, kbblak) each! Arrow's death helped us enormously (even if that sounds parasitic).
Now that DV and DS died we have the problem that many of their members were already in PRU for some time (Acid, animal, eRaser...) and the others would never join us because we are euros (Ritsuka, A_nub) or not competitive enough, or too competitive (milan, Boxed, Plate). Or they hate me (Luck, Cruz, swiss). Or we just don't want them (kill). The only exception would be teen...
We'd have to wait until CT dies to get another such wonder.
that's why I try to invite more players like Garial now, but there aren't many.
(And it could all change in December - no details yet )
We'll see that many "competitive" players who would usually have joined ID or Ww will soon change their preferences because they can't stand this so-called "laid back"-attitude. This does not mean that PRU alone benefits from such a change. Gazelle, Red and BTD would be the first examples for that development. And of course more successful teams like MYM, SP and CT will stay the application magnets.

Just clearing it up word .
Cyclo was never in arrow, think you're confusing him with judders who was arrow and did join SP. Also I wouldn't count liz as she joined SP at a later date which was unrelated to the death of arrow
But yeah there was definitely a wealth of talent to be had after arrow's death.

How is a member of Vcl, ID, or uNa a “free agent”?

Not necessarily current UNA members, but you have had some recent departures, some of whom are either applying to new teams or haven't fully settled into recent positions. It's been stated that ID and VCL members are moonlighting with other teams.Nelhybel wrote:How is a member of Vcl, ID, or uNa a “free agent”?
Besides, there is nothing wrong with playing for another team (FoFo played for uNk and shared a victory with them a few Ladles ago). We're a small community and any situation that keeps competition high is fair game, in my opinion. I'd personally rather see the most dedicated members of all the "2nd tier" teams work together and make up the difference, but again, that's my opinion.
