And I don't like ID VA servers for sometimes crapping out (ctf brawl, 1v1 sumo) :P
Funny that. Out of 6 tournaments that have used these servers, 2, in recent history, have had problems. Problems that in the ctf brawl were solved by merely moving to one of the other servers that I had up. There is not a server out there that has had problems at one time or another. I put up extras for so that if more were needed, they could be, and to have backup servers up, in case there is a problem. I think it's funny how when Z-man's Ladle server is super laggy in a Ladle, nobody says not to use it again. When CT USA and CT LIV, CT LIV in particular which was the worst European Fortress server for Americans for the better part of a year, nobody plans to boycott them. You have a problem in an ID server, and its "I am not playing there", even when plenty of backup options are available.

I don't like vov :)

But this inferiority complex-card is getting old, compguy...I'm not doing fine in the American ID servers either, but I'm also bad in CT USA or VcL servers or Ww servers or any other US server, and it's not your or your clan's fault that many euros suck there. There were enough complaints about euro servers.
The number of ladle servers is limited. If someone else would host them, someone else would have to ignore or deal with all the complaints. I don't avoid US servers because I hate the hoster but because I can't see myself there.

Yeah, vov is lame.. but I don't see anyone boycotting ID servers. They're merely giving their opinion on the performance.

So let's solve these problems.

Put money into tron and host your own servers vov!

Come on, do it!

Wow, I'm so relieved most things went okay. I've just come home to a massive heap of info, so I'll digest it and respond accordingly tomorrow, I'll update the site tonight maybe.

For now, I'll say that I did originally put in an open team slot. As you guys showed up, and played I'm happy to add you to the roster list and to add you to a group. I'll add you to the group you played in, I'll likely add you to group A, as you took part in it, and move H8D to group B, as they didn't show. Please reply here with the roster you would like adding.

Sorry i wasn't around, had some RL stuff I had to deal with. Thans everyone!

Well stated. I did rather overreact.

@venom, to me it sounds like H8D showed, and lost to open team, while tronnes didn't show (so they should be added to group B?)

That's what i will be doing. I nearly typed it in, but I'm too tired to think it through properly.

just my 2 cents

I feel like this is all just an elaborate way of seeding teams for the playoffs, really 3 leagues of 3 where 2 in each make the playoffs. Pretty much puts 0 emphasis on the 'regular season'. I could predict the 2 teams that make the playoffs in each group easily. Just feels like there's no real point of it all when you are in a pseudo-ladle at the end.

My suggestion would be to either make the playoffs only the top 4 teams (one in each division), or just scrap the different leagues, have everyone play everyone like the FPL, no playoffs etc.

It was planned round 16 teams participating, it's unfortunate that that number wasn't reached. The emphasis in the tpl is on match length, and frequency. one team may be on for for one ladle, but be off form for the next. With the fixtures as they are, if you want to win, you have to play well every month for 10 months.

The competition will be reviewed in close season every year, so feel free to make those suggestions then.

My point was that the above statement isn't true at all. The only games that matter at all will be those during your playoffs, the rest is simply a formality.
