Go to the wiki.

http://wiki.armagetronad.net/index.php?title=Main_Page

Search for movie packs and stuff. Not hard.

Also, search the forum.

Yeah, I figured I should look there, but when I did, it only told me what file rather than how to apply it to the game...

Wait, nevermind, it's not working. I don't think I'm doing this right. Do you click go to original post and click the link or is it elsewhere?

Clu42 wrote:For those who dont get it: In the moviepack folder(unzip it), there is a bunch of pictures... Copy and paste the file into the textures folder and MAKE SURE IT HAS THE SAME NAME THAT THE FILE YOU WANT TO CHANGE DOES. One of the moviepacks I downloaded had multiple files for the wall so that each wall alternated but I didnt firgure that one out yet.
NO! NO! NO!

No NOT follow the advice by Clu42 because it is very, very wrong. Moviepack files are to be extracted to a folder called "moviepack" in the Armagetron directory. If no folder exists, create it. To use the alternate textures in-game, turn the moviepack on (instructions above).

Do NOT replace the files in your texture folder with moviepack files. This is the wrong way to use a moviepack. Yes, you can change the default texture in your Armagetron directory, but this is not how moviepacks are to be used.

Please read the wiki, more than once if you don't understand it the first time. This means you too Clue42.

Nope, don't want to read the wiki, either. Like a lot of junk on the Arma wiki, it's incomplete, and what's there is variously outdated, misleading, or just plain wrong. (Another reason, by the way, the wiki should not take the place of, or be the source for, a proper manual.)

For instance, Mac users should not open up the application package contents to make any customisations. Rather, they should navigate to ~[home]/Library/Application Support/Armagetron Advanced/ and place (or create) a moviepack folder in there. Same location is the destination for moviesounds and textures folders.

And I've made this same damn post umteen times on this forum. :x
