Armagetron Recorder fails in OS X Lion
So in the latest OS, Apple pulled out Rosetta functionality, which allowed users to run PowerPC applications. Now everything is required to be Intel based, which the aarec player isn't. Any chance of seeing an update?

As far as I can see, there's no reason to get Lion and every reason to stay away.

I dunno, it's not bad when you get used to it. The things people are complaining about seem mostly superficial, like inverse scrolling. I do miss the standard spaces grid but I'm getting used to the multiple pages of desktops. It just takes some adjusting, that's all.

Yeah, I immediately changed scrolling back to the way it was lol And I don't even use multiple desktops...
When I tried recording with Arma and tried to play a couple PowerPC games but couldn't I just said screw it and partitioned my HD and re-installed Snow Leopard. Programmed obsoleteness ftl.

Download a universal build here: Armagetron Advanced Recorder.app
Re: Armagetron Recorder fails in OS X Lion
I'll have that added in future builds. And by 'future', I mean starting with the one from today.

Still upgrading will stop Photoshop working Some other programs I'd quite like to use too.

You mean "planned obsolescence?" Or was that a deliberate play on making it more computer/tech-y sounding?apparition wrote:Programmed obsoleteness
