32 in one zone sounds rather impossible, but i'd definitely play in it. I mean, it'd be a massive challenge to stay alive the first 5-15 seconds, until there are few enough players alive. Every round.

I can try to make a map with reasonable spawn points, and I'll post here when/if it's done. (It would be hard to gather 32 players to test it though, haha)

But it is a classic map, like Potter suggested. Imagine leeching 4 or 5 zones!

I could see myself getting 5 fps in a 32 player zone.

If we're gonna go with 32 people, how about we make it a little more interesting. We could put all 8 zones right next to each other to add a new element. People could not only capture their own zone, but they could also attack/block players in other zones to get their points. The zones could be arranged in an octagon.

or howabout some type of single-zone normal sumo (a map we've already got, like empha's, or 1v1, or tst) and make it non-shrinking. I think a 3v3 in this scenario would be awesome (it'd be great practice for a broken zone in fort).

be interesting to see just how laggy and slidy 32 sumo players playing sumo at once would be. Anything above 12 really starts to suck. I have tested this numerous times as the only server running on a true dedicated server. Good luck, you may need it.
