Nexus9 Deathmatch Europe

Post by madmax »

Nexus9 fans rejoice! There is now a european server in the wild, hosted by me. :)
It's called Nexus9 Deathmatch Europe and you can find it at armagetronad://one.nocturnallounge.org:4534

Note that the US server is still up and has daily rotation of settings (older/current deathmatch, sumo) although the connection is apparently not very good.

If you never tried it, be careful, you might get addicted to its speedy awesomeness. :)

See you there!

I also forgot one thing, thanks to Kiwi for letting me put it up!

Hooray! :D

Also, all stats have been reset, so it's a good time to start the speedy core dump awesomeness.

Is there still interest in this?

The VPS host I was using decided to end their business about a year a ago, and I didn't switch hosts around that time...

Based on the overwhelming positive support, you may consider your server to be a candidate for an Official Server!

Aside from that, I don't think I've played Nexus9 enough to make an educated opinion on whether you should bring it back or not. My impression is that people enjoyed playing it, so perhaps you couldn't go wrong :) I'll definitely give it a shot! (though, I usually don't play many EU servers -- particularly ones that require a lot of quick turning/up-close-and-personal attacking)
