I made these texture modifications as personal improvements over some parts of trons default graphics I didn't really like. I attempted to make a more streamlined, cleaner look which doesn't interfere and aids gameplay. I want to be able to play at a high level so visually crazy backgrounds or tails are distracting. I just made these for myself as basic improvements on a few graphics, so it's not a full moviepack, but I figure that they might be useful to someone anyway.
Description of Modifications:
- Changed the cycle tail to a clean readable arrow to help aid in gameplay.
Changed the cycle windshield to matte grey, and made the tires more visible.
Changed the background walls to be less visually distracting (in my opinion), and to give a clear distinction between wall and floor. The tiled sprite background for the walls is ripped from the game Halo Zero just to clarify that I'm not claiming ownership of that art.
Added a light green diagonal grid on the floor. Difficult to perceive in regular gameplay but I think it looks good on the menu background regardless.
Added a cleaner title page.
Like I said these are just my personal files, so there is no modification to the sky because I don't use the sky feature. Here are the important graphical settings I am using with my textures. I would recommend you set your settings to these for best results.
System Setup - Display Settings - Preferences -
Sparks: Off
Sky Movement: Off
Lower Sky: Off
Upper Sky: Off
High Rim: On [Or Off if you find high rim too distracting.]
System Setup - Display Settings - Detail Settings -
Floor Detail: Textured Plane
Floor Mirror: Everything! [This is optional but I think it looks the best.]

Last Thoughts:
It's only a few modifications here and there, so I never actually made a moviepack, it's just a replacement texture folder, sorry if that bothers you. Feel free to expand on, change, or mix and match these textures as you would like. I just hope that someone finds some use out of these.
