Uh yeah just keep trusting what the media tells you and life will be great... Be prepared for trouble though the dolor is losing its grip on the world and we are burred alive in debt. Look around you how much longer do we have like this? It has only begun and now our last hope is the grid http://www.gamepro.com/article/features ... e-of-tron/ how close is today’s technology, not that which is accessible to you and I, to being able to "digitize" and re-assemble matter? Who will be the real pioneers of the grid? Is this frontier more sustainable for human life if it were perfected? Why destroy the earth with overpopulation if we can live in many more numbers within a machine? Just something to think about...

Re: Banns
that is why you annoy so many people. you go on rants about something which has NOTHING to do with the topic YOU even created...
another thing for you to think about: a lot of people on arma have REAL lives, they work/go to school/look after kids/etcetcetc... and they come on arma to get away from it all (i know i did when I was going through mental problems, its a nice distraction to be in a community like this, most of the time). these people come to the forums to check up and see whats going on in the community, what other people are doing, maybe get a laugh or two... then you come along, spewing your peace, love and end of the world/overpopulation garbage all around the forum, acting like a little child who throws temper tantrums just because he can and doesn't feel like bearing the consequences of his actions. other people in the forums don't like this; they came here to relax, not to listen to some kid blither on about this crap. you are ruining other peoples' experience (like mine) just because you dont feel like listening to the rules or bearing the consequences of your actions.

Re: Banns
I'm well aware. Bipolar I and II are the two main sub-classifications of the broader Bipolar Spectrum Disorder, but, in fact, there are actually a couple other types as well.Lucifer wrote:Actually, BD has two types, one that's characterized by hypermania (the one we usually talk about), and one that's characterized by hypomania. My ex-wife was diagnosed as a teen with the hypomania variety.Phytotron wrote: hypomania (which can be confused with BP). Yadda yadda.
On the mania side of BP, bipolar I involves full-blown manic episodes, while bipolar II involves episodes of the comparatively less-severe hypomania.
However, hypomania can also exist as a distinct disorder, without the depression side of bipolar II. That's what I meant when I said "can be confused with BP."
(And, to complicate matters, it's not uncommon for other mental illness to accompany BP, especially the more severe BP I. These would include, for example, schizoaffective and/or anxiety disorders.)
I too have known and continue to know several people who are affected by various instances and combinations of the above. I also used to be involved with NAMI.
Re: Banns
I haven't seen hypomania as a standalone condition, but I have seen it as a defining trait of other conditions. Which isn't saying much, my only real world experience is with BD and depression (sometimes called Unipolar Disorder for some strange reason). Although a case could be made for my ex having borderline personality disorder, at least when she was a teenager. Nowadays she's too relaxed for that sort of extreme disorder.
