Just mentioning, animuson's server showed pings of 300-600 for everyone during the WST, to the point that we had to pause the match and wait/seek other servers, and then when it seemed to calm down, restart the game.

If I'm correct in assuming the four servers listed in this competition are all virtual and in fact running from one piece of hardware, it could result in some more headaches and long matches during this tournament, especially as it is scheduled for the same time as last week, and with 8 active players instead of just 6.

@dariv & cody: well the good news is, it looks like there will be a bunch of backup servers. And in regards to that specific server (animuson's), the lag was caused by his ctf tourney server still being up. I imagine the lag only started once the ctf server was put into use (ctf is pretty server intensive). So I imagine it would be fine. Any server that can handle a ladle match (12 players) should be able to handle 8 players playing under the same physics (unless partitioning a physical server into multiple virtual servers causes some great bit of lag).

^^^^^that being said, can we make some kind of unified guidelines for ALL tourneys, that machines running tourney servers should run no other servers than tourney servers. Otherwise they can get quite laggy for some players. An example of this is the last TST when G5's server was fairly poor quality for me because Mega Fort Pro had 10+ players in it. ( )

Ya, Tit is going to have to find me on the day of tournament to op him lol. I don't wanna edit and reupload the sumoauth.cfg since some servers are already up and have alreadyed rincluded the sumoauth.cfg.
