Re: Authentication Question that's it
Anything you want. Those are for local accounts only. For added security of those, you can change ":arma" to ":randomstringyoujustcameupwith", but for the regular @forums logins, they change nothing.
Re: Authentication Question that's it
so there would be no need to change it at all basically?

Re: Authentication Question that's it
None of that matters. Pick anything random you want for the suffix and prefix, and the website can be changed to your website.
Re: Authentication Question that's it
We also just setup an authentication server and I noticed that it doesnt work when you use the Username as prefix or suffix.
Re: Authentication Question that's it
Can you give details? It works for me. It's even the default.
Re: Authentication Question that's it
I dont know why it didnt work for me. The hashes generated by the auth server and from the client were different (yes, i know it is case sensitive when i use the username as pre/suffix).
Re: Authentication Question that's it
Ah, you used the http based authentication with an authority. That, too, worked with the reference script. Something with the authentication script you were using was probably not right.
