Yes, I'm glad this has been worked out. I'm sure it took a little longer to accomplish because we've never come across this specific situation before. But as I see it, there is no foul here. I think everything went according to the guidelines as best it could. The current rules are set up to stop teams from "working the system to their advantage." At no point did Team Immortal have an advantage because we, the community, were completely in control of the situation.

This is clearly a case of Immortal Dynasty not having their shit together - not a case of manipulation or malice. We are doing a good deed by working with Cody and getting them into the game and should be happy they get a chance to participate.


@Luck: uNk did nothing wrong by denying TI our bye. We felt it was an inconvenience for us since not everyone on our team would be available for an early round in Ladle. We exercised our right to keep our bye.

...And Luck, if Team Unknown ever signs up late and you have bye#1, you should definitely deny us because we will pummel you, haha.

And again, there is nothing wrong with us passing on TI's request. We did it because we wouldn't have a full team available and we knew there were other teams that already offered their bye. That's totally fair. Now, if we were the only team with an open bye I would have made some extra effort to ensure TI got to play against us. I think it's clear I'm totally supportive of TI and there are no hard feelings between anyone in Immortal Dynasty or Team Unknown. The only one with a problem here is you, and the only reason I can see why you are continuing this is because you want to cause trouble.
